Hi, I'm Damon Millar. I'm an accountant, fractional CFO and business adviser at Switch Accountants Group. I spend my time helping owners grow profits, pay less tax and build a business that is worth something without them in it.

I built this because of a pattern I keep running into. Practice owners are excellent technicians who have never had anyone look at their own firm as a business. Nobody audits the auditor. There is no adviser for the adviser.

Your practice is a business. It has pricing, capacity, cash conversion and a valuation, exactly like the clients you advise. Most practice owners have never treated it as one.

The frameworks in here are not mine. They belong to Maister, Goldratt, Kaplan, Minto and others, and they have been in print for thirty years or more. What was missing was a method for applying one of them to your own practice, on a Tuesday, with your actual numbers, without setting aside a week you do not have.

That is what these twelve skills are.

Would you rather have someone run this with you? I work with practice owners on exactly these problems: pricing, capacity, lockup, delegation and what the firm is worth without you in it. Book 30 minutes →

What's Inside

  1. What you're actually getting: the twelve skills, the framework behind each, and where the original thinking came from
  2. How to install them: three routes, including one that needs no installation at all
  3. How to use them properly: the input discipline that separates a real diagnosis from a nicely worded guess
  4. The run order: which skill to run first, based on what is actually broken
  5. A full worked example: Practice Economics, start to finish, so you can see the depth before you commit
  6. The other eleven, and the trap in each: the mistake firms make when they try this unaided
  7. Where Claude will let you down: the four failure modes to watch for
  8. Your first 90 minutes: exactly what to do after you finish reading
